Got Questions?

Planning a trip should feel exciting, not confusing.
Here are answers to the questions we hear mainly from travelers booking their first trip with us.

Booking is simple. Browse our available packages on the website, pick the trip that fits your dates and budget, and fill out a short form with your details. Our coordinator will reach out within a day to confirm availability, walk you through payment options, and answer any questions before you lock in your spot.

Visa requirements depend on your passport and destination. Hong Kong SAR passport holders currently don't need a visa for short tourist stays in a majority of our covered countries, including Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Still, we recommend checking your specific passport status before booking, since requirements can change and vary by nationality or travel history.

International flights are not included in our packages, giving you flexibility to book from your preferred airport and travel dates. Domestic flights within a destination, such as Bangkok to Phuket, are included where relevant to the itinerary. Our coordinator can suggest flight options and timing that align smoothly with your chosen trip schedule.

Many trips include hostel or budget hotel stays with twin sharing arrangements, chosen for comfort, location, and value. Some packages, like our Kansai Backpacker trip, include capsule hotel options for a unique local experience. Upgrade options are available on request if you prefer private rooms or additional comfort during your stay.

Our groups typically range from ten to sixteen travelers, kept small on purpose. This size allows for a closer, more relaxed experience compared to larger tour buses, while still keeping costs affordable through shared logistics. You'll travel alongside a mix of solo travelers, friend groups, and pairs within a similar age range.

Our packages follow a set structure to keep group logistics smooth and pricing affordable, but majority of the days include free time for independent exploring. If you want a fully custom itinerary, reach out to our coordinator directly, since we sometimes accommodate private group requests outside our standard package offerings, depending on availability and season.

Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel relative to your departure date. Full details on refund percentages, rescheduling options, and applicable timelines are shared clearly in the Refunds and Cancellation Policy , available on our website. We recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected changes, since it isn't included in the package price.

Travel insurance isn't included in our packages, but we strongly recommend arranging it before departure. It helps cover situations like flight delays, lost luggage, or medical needs while abroad. Since policies and coverage vary by provider and country, we suggest comparing a few options and choosing one that suits your specific travel plans.

Yes. Every trip includes a dedicated coordinator reachable throughout your journey, available for questions, unexpected issues, or general guidance. While not a full-time in-person guide for every activity, the coordinator helps organize logistics, recommend local spots, and step in quickly if something needs attention during your time abroad.

Packing depends on the destination and season, but comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate layers, and a portable charger are useful across many trips. Specific packages include additional notes, such as swimwear for island trips or thermal layers for winter destinations. Full packing suggestions are listed on each individual package page.
